The old lady's boudoir: At Play - CD

Revelations of festivals. No complexes, no clear convictions about direction, no depression, youthful vigour and endearing naivety. Musically, they can be compared to Hole for their combination of melodic to pop passages with wailing, blasting choruses.

Beautifully sung vocals and playful lyrics that don't worry about the limits of imagination. The singer's speech is irresistibly schizophrenic, she can sing in a kind of innocent girlish voice, but also in a very punchy and harsh female rasp.

On the CD we can also find two clips that Marta Svobodová, the lady bandleader calls kukohyby, directed and filmed herself. The band's debut offers very distinctive and catchy songs and is the absolute epitome of an unencumbered and fresh approach to music.
