The Road of Time - DVD

For almost forty years, the visionary mind of one of America' s most prominent directors, Terrence Malick, gave rise to the idea of an ambitious essay that eventually took the form of The Journey of Time.
The film deals with the origin, evolution and extinction of the universe, the life cycle of the solar system. At the heart of Malick' s attention, of course, lies the evolution of various living forms, their diverse forms, transformations from single-celled organisms to the formation of human civilization.

A number of important personalities of the scientific world - paleontologists, biologists, astrophysicists from prestigious workplaces all over the Earth - participated in the creation of the unique documentary.
The expanded feature version was accompanied by a poetic commentary by the famous actress Cate Blanchett, whose enchanting voice asks questions that have accompanied humanity since time immemorial.
