Game Content and Variability
The game offers access to the “Wormpot” system, which allows you to customise the rules and create your own gameplay experience. This gives you access to over 1,000 different game styles that can be applied in both online and offline modes. You can go into battle with an arsenal of almost 60 weapons. Among them, you'll find classic items as well as specific weapons that will test your strategic thinking. A training section is available for new players to master the controls and game mechanics.
Single-Player and Multiplayer Modes
Worms World Party Remastered focuses on multiplayer gameplay that supports both online and local battles. In cooperative missions, you can team up with friends against other teams, while competitive scenarios will test your individual skills. Up to 6 players can compete at once in a single battle. For solo play, there is a Deathmatch mode where you face teams of gradually increasing difficulty, or Time Attack, where you compete for the fastest mission completion time.
Technical Improvements in the Remastered Edition
This remastered edition brings a host of technical improvements for modern gaming systems. The graphics run smoothly at 1080p resolution and 60 frames per second, and the original sound effects have been enhanced. The game also has a redesigned user interface for clearer controls. In addition, it offers full support for modern gamepads and integration with Steam, which includes cloud saves, online leaderboards for comparing results, and an achievement system for completing in-game challenges.
The purchased product key must be activated in Steam:
1) Go to https://store.steampowered.com/ and click on the green button that says "Install Steam".
2) Install and run the Steam client and log in with your existing account or create a new one.
3) Click "Add Game" at the bottom left corner of the screen and then select "Activate a Product on Steam"
4) The "Product Activation" window will pop up. Follow the onscreen instructions and enter your purchased code.
5) Once the activation is complete, you can find the new game in your "Library" tab.
6) Press the blue "Install" button to install the game.
