Quality is based on high standards for materials and workmanship. The stainless steel suds container is particularly robust and hygienic. Stability is ensured by a 4-spring suspension, high-quality shock absorbers and cast iron weights. During development, it must withstand 19000 hours of washing and drying. During this time, it cycles through up to 5000 different programmes. To compare with normal use, this is about 5 programmes per week with an average cycle length of 3.5 hours.

Thanks to the water level sensor and float switch, the Miele WTD 160 WCS washer-dryer is protected against water damage. If water leaks inside the machine, it automatically closes the inlet valve and pumps the water out.
