Extend coverage with EasyMesh
The device is fully compatible with the EasyMesh standard, which significantly simplifies building large-scale wireless networks. By adding other EasyMesh-compatible units, you can easily create a unified network with a single name (SSID) and password, covering even large and complex spaces. The system supports seamless client transition between individual points (roaming), so there are no connection dropouts when moving around the building. This feature is beneficial for business environments and large homes where a consistent and strong signal is needed in every room.
Connectivity and power options
For wired connections, there are two Gigabit Ethernet ports with flexible WAN/LAN configuration. The unit is powered either via a standard DC connector or more conveniently using 802.3af/at standard PoE-in technology. This reduces the need to run a separate power cable to the device. The second Ethernet port also includes a passive PoE-out function, which allows you to power another network element, such as an IP camera or another access point, directly from this device. Together with the mounting kit for ceiling or wall attachment, you get high installation flexibility.
