Connectivity for networks
This Mikrotik switch offers high port density for connecting your devices. You get twenty 2.5GbE ports, which are ideal for workstations, access points, or IP cameras requiring increased throughput. Four COMBO ports provide flexibility, as you can use them either as standard 2.5GbE copper ports or as 10G SFP+ fibre ports for connecting servers or backbone network elements. For demanding links, such as connections to other switches or data storage, two 40G QSFP+ ports are ready to perform.
Management features and L3 routing
In addition to standard L2 features like VLAN support, link aggregation (LACP), or port mirroring, this model also handles L3 switching. This lets you create and manage separate network segments and route traffic between them directly on the switch, without needing an external router. Support for static routing and OSPF and BGP protocols gives administrators the tools they need to build robust network topologies. Management is made even easier with features like DHCP and ARP snooping.
Operation security
This switch is built for reliability. Redundant power supplies ensure continuous operation even if one of them fails. A wide operating temperature range from -20 to 60°C enables deployment in environments without air conditioning. A comprehensive suite of features takes care of network security. With access control lists (ACL) and the built-in firewall, you can precisely define and filter traffic. The system also includes protection against DoS attacks and a PoE Auto recovery feature that automatically reboots unresponsive connected devices. Priority mode is also available to prioritise critical network traffic.
