Mucosolvan for adults 30 mg/5 ml syrup 200 ml
The preparation is used in acute and chronic diseases of the respiratory system. These are e.g. acute bronchitis, laryngitis and tracheitis, as well as chronic diseases such as. chronic bronchitis and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Ambroxol hydrochloride, the active ingredient in MUCOSOLVAN for adults, increases mucus secretion in the airways, increases the production of pulmonary surfactant (a substance that coats the inner walls of the lung chambers) and stimulates the activity of the cilia that transport mucus. These effects result in more profuse liquefaction, better transport and expulsion of mucus (mucociliary clearance), thereby facilitating expectoration and relieving cough.
MUCOSOLVAN syrup for adults is intended primarily for adults, but it can also be used by adolescents and children from 1 year of age.
If you do not feel better within 5 days (within 3 days for children) or if you feel worse, you must consult a doctor.

Recommended dosage
• adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: 3 times a day 5 ml
• children from 6 to 12 years old: 2-3 times a day 2.5 ml - children from 2 to 5 years: 3 times a day 1.25 ml
• children from 1 to 2 years old: 2 times a day 1.25 ml
Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: 5 ml 3 times a day. Efficacy can be increased by administering 10 ml of syrup 2 times a day (equivalent to 120 mg of ambroxol hydrochloride per day).
🍃 Ingredients
The active substance is ambroxoli hydrochloridum 30 mg in 5 ml of syrup.
Excipients are: Hyetelosa, benzoic acid, Strawberry flavouring (contains propylene glycol and flavouring), vanilla flavouring (contains propylene glycol, artificial aroma and natural aroma), Sucralose, purified water.

Contraindications
Read the package insert carefully.
Do not take MUCOSOLVAN for adults if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to ambroxol or any of the excipients in the medicine.
It is not recommended to take the product in pregnancy, especially in the first 3 months. Since ambroxol hydrochloride is excreted in breast milk, it is not recommended that breastfeeding mothers take the product.
