Creative Pixel Effects
The light provides 10 integrated pixel effects, including Rainbow, Multicolour, and Driving. These lighting effects faithfully mimic real-life situations, such as the headlights of passing vehicles. Users can fine-tune individual lighting animations and save them directly in the NANLINK mobile app. The saved presets are available at any time for future projects.
Mounting
The ergonomic handle on the base makes it easy to hold when using light painting techniques. An integrated 1/4"-20 thread is used for mounting on tripods, grips, or a folding floor stand. The tube's octagonal ends prevent it from unintentionally rolling when placed on a flat surface. This design helps to precisely direct and tilt the light beam at the desired angle without the need for additional fixing.
Simple Controls
The tube body has only 3 control buttons for basic parameter adjustments. Wireless Bluetooth technology connects the light to the NANLINK mobile app for more in-depth settings without the need for physical contact. The USB-C port is also used to connect an optional USB-C-to-DMX cable. This cable then enables full wired DMX control via a standard XLR interface.
Power Options
The built-in battery powers the light for 1 hour when set to full 100% brightness. By reducing the brightness intensity to 20%, the total operating time is extended to up to 3.5 hours. Charging is done via the integrated USB-C port using the cable included in the package. For on-location work, any external batteries and power banks can also be easily connected for power.
Colour Modes and Accuracy
The light source achieves high colour rendering accuracy with a CRI of 96 Ra and a TLCI of 97. The wide colour temperature range is complemented by a full RGB mode that allows for mixing colour shades. The 8W output provides sufficient intensity for detailed scene lighting in product photography and studio work. This continuous light source ensures stable performance.
