Nasic nasal spray 10 ml
Nasic is a nasal spray that contains the medicinal substances xylometazoline and dexpanthenol. Xylometazoline has a vasoconstrictive effect (causes constriction of blood vessels) and thus reduces swelling of the nasal mucosa. Dexpanthenol is a derivative of pantothenic acid, a vitamin that promotes wound healing and protects mucous membranes. Nasic is used to reduce swelling of the nasal mucosa during rhinitis and to promote healing of the broken mucosa and skin, to relieve vasomotor rhinitis (manifested by attacks of thin watery nasal discharge and stuffy nose) and to treat impaired nasal breathing after nasal surgery. Within minutes, the action of the medicinal substance xylometazoline hydrochloride reduces the swelling of the nasal airways. The product is intended for adults and children from 6 years of age. The package contains 10 ml.
Dosage and method of use
Unless otherwise prescribed by a physician, adults and children 6 years of age and older inject one dose (one injection) into each nostril up to 3 times daily, as needed. Do not take Nasic for more than 7 days (3 days for children) without consulting your doctor. Always consult your doctor for the duration of use.
Contraindications
Not intended for children under 6 years of age, pregnant and breastfeeding. Do not use Nasic if you are allergic to xylometazoline hydrochloride or dexpanthenol or to any of the other ingredients in this medicine or if you have dry nasal mucosa (rhinitis sicca).
