NATU Karob BIO 200 g

Karob or carob, also known as carob bread, was a traditional and very popular ingredient used in ancient Rome and Greece. It is very similar in taste to cocoa and is suitable as a substitute. Compared to cocoa, carob has a naturally sweet taste and about a third less calorie value due to its lower fat content. It has a higher carbohydrate content than cocoa, so it does not need to be sweetened unnecessarily. The carob powder is of organic BIO quality. It is processed in a very gentle way and does not contain genetically modified GMO ingredients.

Use:
Dose carob at your own discretion. Use in similar quantities to cocoa.

Types:
Carob can serve as a substitute for cocoa and coffee. Mix e.g. Mix 10-20 g of carob powder with water or milk (150-200 ml) and you will have a delicious drink. You can freely add it to smoothies, porridge or dough when baking.
