nJoy Aster 2K

The nJoy Aster 2K UPS protects the power supply of critical systems. As a 2000VA On-line UPS with double-conversion topology, it generates a pure sine wave output, independent of the input current quality. With a real power of 1800W and a power factor of 0.9, it can handle powerful servers and network components. Its flexible design means it can be installed in a 2U rack position or used as a standalone tower. The system provides complete isolation from mains faults and delivers stable power for sensitive electronics. At full load, it powers connected devices for 4.5 minutes.

Performance, topology, batteries and expansion options

This UPS uses on-line double-conversion technology (VFI), which completely isolates connected devices from all power grid problems. It offers an apparent power of 2000VA and a real power of 1800W with a power factor of 0.9. For energy saving, it includes an ECO mode where efficiency reaches up to 97%. The backup time at full load is 4.5 minutes, while at half load (900W), it extends to 12 minutes. The UPS is also compatible with generator power. The protective features are complemented by an internal bypass for cases of overload or UPS failure. Inside the unit are six GP07122L batteries, which are easy to replace without professional assistance. For applications requiring longer autonomy, you can connect an optional external battery module to significantly extend the backup time. The ease of battery replacement simplifies maintenance and reduces total operating costs. Additionally, the cold start function starts the UPS directly from the battery even without an input power supply.

Management, construction and connectivity

For monitoring and management, the UPS offers a clear, multi-function colour LCD screen that displays operating status, load level, battery status and other key metrics. Wide communication options include USB ports with HID support, a serial RS-232 port, and an SNMP slot for integration into network monitoring systems. The included management software handles the safe shutdown of connected systems during a prolonged outage. An EPO connector for an immediate emergency power off is also included. The UPS has a convertible design suitable for both 2U rack mounting and standalone tower use. Its dimensions are 88×610×438mm and it weighs 23.1kg. The operating noise level does not exceed 45dB. An IEC-320 C14 input connector is used for power connection, while eight fully backed-up IEC-320 C13 output sockets are available for appliances.
