The Noctua NA-FH1 fan hub allows you to power and control up to eight fans simultaneously from a single motherboard header or a separate controller. The fan hub supports both 4-pin PWM and 3-pin connectors for wide compatibility with different types of coolers. The device safely distributes power to all connected channels, and integrated protective circuits with auto-resetting fuses protect your components from damage. The design works reliably with both 12V and 5V, with a total current of 5,400mA.
The Noctua NA-FH1 fan hub supports power via an S-ATA connector or a 4-pin PWM input, depending on the system's current needs. Both power inputs can be used simultaneously, with the device automatically drawing power from the S-ATA connector and using the 4-pin port only for transmitting control signals. When powered via S-ATA, it provides a total output of up to 54W for 12V fans; when using the 4-pin input, it can handle loads up to 24W.
Each input circuit of the Noctua NA-FH1 includes resettable fuses that protect connected components from damage due to overcurrent or short circuits. The protective circuits actively prevent dangerous situations and potential damage to the cabling inside the computer case. The protection automatically resets after the cause of the fault is removed, increasing the operational reliability of the entire cooling system.
The Noctua NA-FH1 device works with both 12V and 5V fans, extending its use beyond classic computer builds. This compatibility facilitates the construction of specific cooling projects in various industrial and home applications. Users can connect 5V fans via the 4-pin power input and power them, for example, from a power bank or a mains adapter with a USB interface.
The Noctua NA-FH1 fan hub transmits the speed signal from the first channel directly to the motherboard for precise fan status monitoring. LED indicators immediately signal the failure or stoppage of any connected cooler. The other channels are equipped with independent light-emitting diodes that indicate the presence of a speed signal for each connected fan separately.
On the back, there are four strong neodymium magnets that hold the device firmly to any steel surface of a computer case. The magnetic attachment system reduces installation time to a minimum and simplifies cable management inside. For installation on non-magnetic materials like aluminium or plastic, the smooth back of the Noctua NA-FH1 can be used for mounting with double-sided adhesive tape.
The Noctua NA-FH1 meets international standards and holds CE, UKCA, and UL certifications. The manufacturer declares the long-term reliability of all electronic components. The design complies with safety standards EN 62368-1, EN 55035, and EN 55032, confirming a high level of electromagnetic compatibility and safety.
