The Olympia Vario Duplex 4000 is a combination trimmer with two cutting surfaces: one lever trimmer and one rotary trimmer. Both cutting surfaces include several guides to make cutting easier. These include a ruler along the cut with a centimetre scale, a ruler perpendicular to the cut with a centimetre scale, a protractor with a 5° scale and a range of 0–45° on both sides of the centre, a 1×1cm grid, and templates for A6, A7, business card, and 9×13cm photo formats. The trimmer stays firmly on the table thanks to its non-slip rubber feet.

The Olympia Vario Duplex 4000 features a multifunctional rotary trimmer with a switchable cutting head, which allows for 3 types of cutting: a classic straight cut, a wave cut, and perforation. It can cut up to 3 sheets of A4 paper at once and offers a cutting length of 32cm. Switching between functions on the trimmer is very simple: just unclip the lock, turn the wheel to the position for the desired cut type, and clip the lock back in. Then, place the paper under the transparent pressure bar and you can start cutting.
