Clear LCD display
The TG-7 features a 7.6cm (3:2) LCD monitor with 1040K dot resolution, providing a clear and detailed view when composing shots and viewing images in the field. Display allows brightness adjustment in a range of +/- 7 levels, so you can easily adapt it to the current lighting conditions. Live View is available, and there's also Live ND to expand your creative options when shooting with longer times.
4x optical zoom
The TG-7 is equipped with a high quality lens with a 2.0-4.9 aperture and a focal length of 4.5-18.0 mm, which corresponds to 25-100 mm (eq. 35mm), ideal for shots ranging from landscapes to portraits. The lens uses 3 aspherical elements to improve sharpness and eliminate optical defects, and offers a 4x optical zoom (WIDE). The lens design has 9 elements in 7 groups for high quality image transmission. If you want to use a filter, the CLA-T01 adapter (40.5 mm) is available.
Imaging modes and options
The TG-7 offers advanced enhancement features including mechanical image stabilization (sensor shift), face detection and shadow correction to ensure sharp and balanced images in all conditions. Photographers can take advantage of a wide range of modes: Automatic program, The film, i-Auto, Microscope, Underwater, Aperture priority, Scenic modes, Art Filter and Custom Settings. There are also 22 scene modes, including: Children, Documents, e-Portrait, Interior, Country, Landscape with portrait, Night scene, Night scene with portrait, Fireworks, Panorama, Beach and snow, HDR backlight, Slow shutter speed, Portrait, Live Composite, Handheld Starlight, Sport, Building 1/2/3, Candle and Sunset. For precision focusing, the TG-7 uses autofocus TTL iESP with contrast detection with face detection, single-point AF, manual focus, area, AF tracking and spot focusing as the situation demands.
Artist through art filters
For creative expression, you can use a wide range of artistic filters*: Watercolour, Bleach Bypass, Pale Light Colour, Partial Colour (18 colours)Diorama, Dramatic tone, A fine cuttlefish, Key line, Cross process, Soft focus, Instant film, Pin hole, Pop art, Light tone, Vintage and Grainy Film.
*Filters may reduce the frame rate.
Video to capture important moments
The TG-7 can shoot in MOV (MPEG-4AVC/H.264) format with digital image stabilization, which ensures smooth and stable recording even when moving. You can capture 4K video (3840×2160, 30p, 25p, approx. 102 Mbps, max. length 29 min), Full HD video ( 1920×1080, max. length 29 min) or HD video (1280×720, max. length 29 min). The same artistic filters* are available for videos as for photos, allowing you to get creative while you're shooting.
*Artistic filters are not available for 4K and high-speed video.
