OMKI is a sterile 10 ml eye solution containing 2% citicoline and 0.2% hyaluronic acid. It is intended as an adjunctive treatment to reduce intraocular pressure in glaucoma patients.
Use:
OMK1, due to the presence of citicoline and its effect on the structure of retinal ganglion cells, is intended as an adjunctive treatment to intraocular pressure-lowering therapy in glaucoma patients. In addition, the moisturizing and protective properties of the product provide relief for the eyes in case of irritation, burning and foreign body sensation in the eye caused by environmental factors, eye surgery or conjunctivitis. Due to the presence of citicoline, OMK1 offers useful and beneficial structural support in restoring the integrity of membranes of cells affected by ocular degenerative processes such as glaucoma. In addition, solutions containing hyaluronic acid allow to provide a suitable microenvironment for reparative processes on the surface of the eye in case of damage to the corneal and conjunctival epithelium. Hyaluronic acid is obtained through biotechnological production and gives the solution mucomimetic, mucoadhesive and viscoelastic properties that are useful for increasing the stability of the tear film, which keeps the ocular surface lubricated, hydrated and protected. The preparation contains 0,01 % benzalkonium chloride.
Dosing:
1 drop 3 times a day, as needed.
Do not use after the expiry date. After first opening, use within 30 days. Keep out of sight and reach of children, The product is intended for external ocular use, Do not use if the bottle is damaged. Do not use in case of allergy to any ingredient of the product. Avoid eye contact with the dropper. Blurred vision may temporarily occur after application, so it is recommended to wait a few seconds for activities requiring sharp vision, Wait 10-15 minutes after application before using other topical eye medications. Dispose of the bottle in the municipal waste after use.
