Ophthalmo-Septonex eye ointment 5 g
Ophthalmo-Septonex eye ointment with disinfectant effects is suitable for the treatment of non-purulent inflammations of the anterior segment of the eye. Ophthalmo-Septonex is used in inflammation of the eyelids and conjunctiva, in corneal damage after removal of foreign bodies and after injuries. It can be used short-term even during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Ophthalmo-Septonex eye ointment can be used by adults and children.
Dosage and method of use
Usually in adults and children, a small amount of eye ointment is injected into the conjunctival sac or applied to the eyelid skin 3-5 times a day for a maximum of 14 days. When simultaneously treated with eye drops, the ointment is usually used at night. It is advisable to keep the eye closed for 2 - 3 minutes after applying the ointment into the eye so that the medicinal substance does not run off with the tears and can be absorbed by the cornea and conjunctiva.
When using two or more eye ointments, allow at least 10 minutes between applications. Before first use, it is recommended to squeeze and remove about 1 cm of ointment
Contraindications
Do not use Ophthalmo-Septonex if you are allergic to the medicine or to any of the other ingredients in this medicine; reduced tear production and inflammation of the cornea and conjunctiva with limited tear secretion. If you are breastfeeding, use only for a short time.

Storage
Keep out of sight and reach of children. Do not use this product after the expiry date stated on the box and tube after EXP. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month. Shelf life after first opening is 4 weeks. Store at temperatures up to 25 °C. Protect from frost.
Do not dispose of any medicines in wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of products you no longer use. These measures help protect the environment.
