Ovonex Coenzyme Q10 is a food supplement in the form of drops. It contains a water-soluble, reduced form of coenzyme Q10—ubiquinol. It has several times higher absorbability compared to the oil form enclosed in capsules (softgels) and compared to oxidised forms of CoQ10. Coenzyme Q10 is a substance native to the body, which our body creates itself. It is found in most cells in the body and helps the mitochondria produce energy. There is a particularly high concentration in the heart, an organ that requires high doses of energy to function properly. The synthesis of CoQ10 in the body decreases with age.
