Active ingredients
Active ingredients in 1 tablet: glucosamine sulfate 750 mg, MSM - Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) 500 mg, Oil of borage 25 mg, hydrolyzed collagen 20 mg, vitamin C 20 mg, Ginger, turmeric long, boswell 40 mg.
- Glucosamine Sulfateplays an important role in cartilage metabolism. It stimulates cartilage cells (chondrocytes) to synthesize proteoglycans (the basic building blocks of cartilage) and is the main substrate for their formation. Glucosamine is actively taken up by cartilage. The administration of glucosamine slows down the development of degenerative changes in cartilage.
- Substance MSMis a substance containing organically bound sulphur, which acts to strengthen ligaments and tendons, suppress inflammation and pain, and regenerate and relax muscles. It also has strong antioxidant and other positive effects and is a unique source of sulfur compounds that have a positive effect on the body, especially in damaged articular cartilage.
- Hydrolyzed collagen is the main protein of the joint elastic cartilage, where it ensures its strength, flexibility and resistance. The collagen contained in ALAVIS™ MSM + Glucosamine Sulfate is hydrolysed, which means that it is enzymatically broken down into smaller particles that are more easily absorbed in the digestive tract and are therefore much more useful for building and repairing damaged cartilage. Lack of collagen in the joint and cartilage leads to impaired mobility and progressive degenerative changes. Collagen ensures the strength and elasticity of connective tissues.
- Vitamin C is required for the metabolism of amino acids, especially the amino acids hydroxylysine and hydroxyproline, which are very important for collagen synthesis. Vitamin C also plays an integral role in bone and cartilage development. Vitamin C deficiency leads to lower strength of collagen fibers not only in cartilage, but also in ligaments and tendons. Vitamin C also promotes iron absorption and supports the production of white blood cells, which play an important role in immunity and protect the body's cells with their antioxidant effect.
