Aquael Sponge Fan-1 plus 2 pcs

The Aquael Sponge replacement filter media is designed for the Aquael Fan-1 plus internal aquarium filter. It provides effective mechanical filtration in freshwater aquariums. The sponge is made of bio-foam, which is completely safe for fish and other aquatic life. Thanks to its structure, it traps cloudiness and dirt, helping to keep your aquarium water crystal clear. The pack contains two pieces for quick and easy replacement.

Clean water and a healthy environment

The filter sponge is essential for maintaining the biological balance in your aquarium. Its porous structure provides the ideal surface for colonisation by beneficial nitrifying bacteria, which help break down harmful substances. In addition to mechanically cleaning visible dirt from the water, the bio-foam supports biological filtration. Regular replacement of the media, recommended about once a month, is important to maintain optimum filtration performance and a healthy environment for your fish.
