Repti Planet bedding is intended primarily for terrarium animals and invertebrates, but it is also suitable for growing plants and preparing growing substrates. The peat is ready for direct use and can also be mixed with other materials, such as sand, lignocel, bark, and more. Mixing substrates increases the ability to retain water and create a humid environment, which is often rich in decomposing organic materials. It maintains moisture and a favourable microclimate in the terrarium. The growth of microorganisms contributes to the overall health of the ecosystem inside the terrarium. This is 100% natural, untreated peat, so it is also suitable for composting after use. It can be reused, which is an important factor in terms of environmental sustainability.

Peat is a very important component of the substrate that is not easily replaced. It is also ideal for growing plants and preparing growing substrates. It is an organic material that is formed by the very slow decomposition of plants and other organic substances in moist and acidic environments, such as bogs and peatlands. Peatlands are wetlands formed mainly of organic matter, which can be the remains of plants decomposing very slowly due to low oxygen content and high humidity.
