With its solid 2800 W performance, the iron can instantly heat up to the right operating temperature. Its 50 g/min steam output allows you to quickly and easily iron even thick and strong fabrics you would normally have to spend a lot of time on. When you are still bothered by unpleasant wrinkles on your dresses or suits, you can simply switch on the Steam Boost feature that provides a steam output of up to 250 g/min. It will also come in handy for vertical steaming, which will smooth out, remove all creases, and provide extra disinfection. The iron is also equipped with a spray function. The iron is great for ironing a big pile garments, since you don't need to constantly refill the water in the 300 ml water tank. For ease-of-use, the Philips 7000 Series DST7040/80 comes with a 2 m long power cable.
