PROM-IN JOINT CARE DRINK combines the clinically studied collagen peptides FORTIGEL and TENDOFORTE with a complex of substances used in musculoskeletal nutrition. The formula targets both articular cartilage and tendons and ligaments, the structures that are subjected to the greatest mechanical stress during sports.

The musculoskeletal system is made up of a complex network of connective tissues, cartilage, tendons, ligaments and bones. These structures withstand long-term mechanical stress during sports and everyday movement. Unlike muscle tissue, connective structures have a slower metabolism and their regeneration is significantly slower. For this reason, many studies focus on the role of specific nutrients and collagen peptides that have the potential to supplement the diet in situations of increased mechanical stress, i.e., during sports or other demanding activities. This product offers the most comprehensive mix of substances focused specifically on these structures. The unique formula combines two types of special collagen peptides with other substances commonly used in joint tissue nutrition.
Active Ingredients
- Boswellia serrata - the whole complex is finalised with the use of Boswellia serrata extract. Boswellia serrata is the subject of studies focusing primarily on metabolic processes associated with the body's inflammatory response ⁶
- Vitamin C - according to the EFSA, vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of cartilage and bones ⁷
What makes PROM-IN Joint Care Drink stand out?
- FORTIGEL – collagen peptides for cartilage. A patented form of hydrolysed collagen peptides developed by GELITA. These peptides are the subject of studies in relation to cartilage metabolism and the activity of cartilage tissue cells. Experimental work shows that after oral administration of collagen hydrolysates, specific collagen peptides can be detected in cartilage tissue ¹. Clinical studies have also investigated the use of collagen peptides in physically active individuals in relation to the condition of their joints under stress ². Another randomised controlled study investigated the safety and efficacy of collagen hydrolysate in the context of joint condition during long-term use ³.
- TENDOFORTE – collagen peptides for tendons and ligaments. Another specific fraction of collagen peptides, this time focused on connective tissues with a high content of type I collagen, especially tendons, ligaments and their attachments (entheses). The aim of its inclusion in the formula was to nutritionally support the structures that transmit mechanical force between muscle and bone, i.e., those that are exposed to high mechanical stress during sports. It is these structures that are often involved in problems known as enthesopathies (e.g., tennis elbow and others). In the scientific literature, these collagen peptides are studied in relation to fibroblast metabolism and the synthesis of collagen fibres in these structures. Studies show an increase in markers of collagen synthesis after exercise when supplementing with collagen peptides in combination with vitamin C ⁴. Further work has investigated the effect of these specific collagen peptides on tendon properties with long-term supplementation ⁵.

Preparation
Mix 13.6g of the mixture (6 level scoops) in a shaker with 200–300ml of still water.
Recommended Dosage
13.6g of the mixture (6 scoops). 30–60 minutes before training or rehabilitation exercise or in the morning on an empty stomach or at any time during the day as part of long-term care for connective tissues
Storage
