Image Resolution
The 1/3" CMOS sensor works with two lenses. The first is a wide-angle lens with a 2.8mm focal length and F1.6 aperture, complemented by a telephoto lens with an 8mm focal length and F1.6 aperture. The camera records video at a resolution of 3840 × 2160 pixels at a frame rate of 15 FPS. The horizontal viewing angle ranges from 108.4° to 38°, and the vertical angle is 57.3° to 21.2°. For efficient data transfer management, it uses modern H.264 and H.265 compression formats, which significantly reduce the size of stored files on the memory medium without losing detail.
Night Vision and Illumination
This device offers two modes for monitoring in low-light conditions. The infrared night vision works with two 850nm IR LEDs, providing a black-and-white image at a distance of up to 30m. For colour night vision, there is an integrated spotlight with a colour temperature of 6,500K and a luminous flux of 450 lumens. The spotlight can be turned off in the app settings if needed. The system automatically switches between day and night mode using a built-in IR-cut filter.
Smart Detection and Alarms
The built-in PIR sensor and advanced algorithms recognise people, vehicles and animals, which reduces the occurrence of false alarms. Users can set specific activity zones to monitor selected areas. Upon detecting an unauthorised entry, the device activates a loud audible alarm and a warning light, and immediately sends a notification to a mobile phone or email. The AI auto-tracking feature automatically follows moving objects within the camera's field of view.
Two-Way Audio and Communication
The body includes a built-in high-sensitivity microphone and a sufficiently loud speaker. These components facilitate clear, real-time two-way communication with people in front of the lens. The sound system is also used to trigger the built-in siren in the event of a breach in the monitored area. Users can speak to visitors or warn unwanted individuals on the property through the app.
Recording Storage and Construction
Recordings are saved to a MicroSD memory card with a supported capacity of up to 128GB, or you can use the secure Reolink Cloud storage. The motorised drive provides rotation through 355° horizontally and from 0° to 90° vertically, while the additional 6× hybrid zoom brings distant objects closer. The durable chassis with an IP65 rating withstands rain, snow, and strong winds in a temperature range from -10°C to +55°C. Power is supplied by a 5,100mAh rechargeable battery, which can be charged using the Reolink Solar Panel 2.
Connectivity Options
The wireless connection is exclusively via the 4G LTE mobile network, which facilitates operation in locations without Wi-Fi coverage. For setup and remote management, the Reolink mobile app for Android and iOS is used, which communicates in both Czech and English. The system supports the Google Assistant voice assistant and allows remote access from computers with Windows and Mac OS operating systems.
