Introducing the second generation of the comprehensive REXbike 2 GPS tracker, which secures your bike against theft, can call for help in the event of an accident thanks to the bike eCall system, and also provides you with a GPS record of your routes. Compared to the previous generation, you can look forward to 45% improved battery life, a modern USB-C connector, 4G/LTE support, new modes, and expanded coverage in all developed countries worldwide.
The REXbike 2 GPS locator is designed to be discreet, easy to use, and lightweight—weighing just 99 grams. It also features a motion sensor and GPS tracking technology, allowing you to see not only the current location of your bike on a map, but also its movement history, including data such as speed or distance travelled, for up to a year. All functions are controlled via a mobile app available for iOS and Android devices. Once the security mode is activated, you will receive a notification on your mobile phone whenever your bike is tampered with. This allows you to react immediately to any theft attempt.
The REXbike 2 GPS tracker is now charged via a USB-C port, and the battery lasts up to 18 days in security mode and up to 11 days in ride mode (depending on the number of kilometres ridden). It naturally features a water-resistant design, so you can go for a ride even in bad weather. It is mounted using the included security screws into the pre-drilled threads in the frame. The REXbike 2 can also be conveniently installed under a bottle cage.
The monthly fee is CZK 100 incl. VAT (this covers the transmission of alerts and routes in all developed countries, SIM card costs, the mobile app, 24/7 access to online location and route history viewing, and email support). One month of service is included with the purchase. You are only charged for calendar months when the device was switched on (for any length of time). Therefore, if you want to pause the service, switch the device off. (The device cannot be switched off while connected to a charger. Connecting the charger automatically switches it on.) The maximum pause period is 12 months. The thirteenth month will be charged even if the device is switched off. (It can then be paused again.) An invoice for the next subscription period is issued before the prepaid period expires. You can pay the invoice by bank transfer or credit/debit card. If the invoice is not paid before the prepaid period expires, the service will be terminated.
