The Robustel M1000-MP4LA is an industrial cellular modem designed to provide reliable data transmission in M2M and IIoT applications. The device uses the ELS62 module and works on 4G LTE Cat 1 networks with backward compatibility support for 2G networks. Its robust design and wide operating temperature range make this modem suitable for harsh industrial environments where stable connectivity is required for remote monitoring or smart metering.

Communication and management
The modem supports control using standardized AT commands (Hayes 3GPP TS 27.007 and 27.005), which facilitates configuration and integration into existing systems. Communication is via RS-232 serial port or USB 2.0 interface. The device allows TCP/IP connection and sending SMS messages directly via AT commands, which increases the flexibility of use in various automation scenarios.
Installation and connectivity
For high installation versatility, the modem offers surface, wall or DIN rail mounting options. Connectivity is provided by one Mini SIM card slot and an SMA connector for connecting an external antenna, which is removable. Power is supplied via a 2-pin connector and the device is designed for long-term operation in EMEA.
