The innovative QuadroCook system ensures a flawless consistency and distinct fluffiness in every grain by managing the cooking process in six precisely defined steps. The process combines gradual heating to 80°C with a technological pause for optimal steam absorption, followed by rapid final cooking at temperatures up to 120°C and a final ten-minute fluffing phase. This system is complemented by intermittent heating in the middle of the cycle, which gives the rice a fluffiness and lightness that is unattainable in a regular pot.
Intelligent TwinTemp sensors prevent burning and overcooking
The Salente Jasmine rice cooker eliminates the risk of failure with its unique technology of two independent temperature sensors. The upper sensor in the lid constantly evaluates the temperature of the outgoing steam and adjusts the boiling intensity to prevent the rice from ever turning into a sticky mass. The lower sensor in the centre of the 13cm diameter heating plate monitors the temperature of the inner pot itself, reliably preventing ingredients from sticking to the bottom and immediately shutting down cooking safely if the appliance is turned on empty.
Versatile use with four automatic programmes
This multifunctional appliance is for far more than just preparing classic white rice. In addition to the basic mode, it offers a specialised programme for rice blends and harder rice varieties, such as basmati or whole-grain brown rice, ensuring they have a longer time to swell optimally. Two other programmes are dedicated to the automatic preparation of creamy rice porridges and for slowly simmering hearty soups. For porridges and soups, you can adjust the cooking time yourself.
Precise measuring without scales and easy maintenance
Thanks to the included measuring cup and clear measurement lines embossed directly on the wall of the removable pot, there's no need for complicated weighing of ingredient and water ratios. You can also rinse the rice directly in this pot, saving you from washing up extra dishes. The high-quality non-stick coating ensures that after cooking, you just need to wipe the inside lightly and rinse it. The fully removable inner lid and silicone seal also contribute to easy cleaning.
Practical delayed start and long-term keep warm function
With the delayed start function of up to 24 hours, you can schedule your meal to be ready for the exact moment you get back from work or a trip. After the cooking cycle finishes and an acoustic signal sounds, the rice cooker automatically switches to the energy-saving Double KeepWarm mode. This keeps the food warm and fresh for up to 12 hours without drying it out, and it also serves as a safe way to reheat previously cooked food.
