For the fourth time, Samsung introduces a durable smartphone meant to withstand harsh conditions. The Galaxy Xcover4 is a direct successor to the Xcover 3, and thus keeps its high bar in the area of resilience, but with more powerful hardware and a larger display.
The front of the Xcover4 boasts a 5" TFT display with HD resolution and rich colours, with 3 physical buttons underneath and a 5Mpx camera for outdoor selfies or connecting with friends. The remaining controls are on the rubberized sides. Special moments can be captured with the 13Mpx camera on the back of the phone.
The entire body of the Xcover4 is made of durable materials with IP68 and MIL-STD 810G certification, protecting it from water, dust, high/low temperatures and shocks. The phone, weighing only 172g, comes packed with a powerful 2800mAh battery.
Sufficient performance is provided by its Exynos 7570 quad-core processor with 1.4GHz and 2GB of memory. 16GB of internal storage is offered, which can be extended with a Micro SD memory card. Connectivity includes NFC technology and fast LTE, all controlled by the Android 7.0 Nougat system.
