Seagate Exos X24 16TB 512E/4KN Standard SATA
The Seagate Exos X24 16TB 512E/4KN Standard SATA hard drive belongs among the high load internal HDDs for 24/7 operation in data centres. 3.5" HDDs are made chiefly for data centres and desktop PCs. One of the key parameters is undoubtedly the rotational speed. The 7200 rev/min RPM ensures improved performance and data speeds. You can look forward to a total data capacity of 16000 GB. The device has a 512 MB memory cache. The data transfer between the Seagate hard drive and the PC or other devices is facilitated via the SATA III interface.
Seagate Exos X24 16TB 512E/4KN Standard SATA Hard Disk Key Features

Other HDD Features
Platter HDDs have a special construction. The enclosure conceals a mechanism that utilises moving platters, complete with hard disk heads that read and write the data. These mechanical parts don't take shocks and impact well, but this weak point is well-compensated by an excellent price/storage capacity ratio. The important parameter that affects the speed of a hard disk is the number of rotations per minute (RPM). With the Seagate Exos X24 16TB 512E/4KN Standard SATA, you can look forward to 7200 rev/min revolutions per minute. This is welcome news for people with higher requirements, such as graphic or video editors - in short, people who work with large amounts of data. File access speed and overall stability is also affected by the disk buffer, usually called cache. The Seagate HDD includes a 512 MB cache that keeps the last written data for their speedy reading.
Connecting the Seagate Hard Drive
If you want to mount the Seagate Exos X24 16TB 512E/4KN Standard SATA in your PC or other device, it must have a 3.5" slot. Data transfer is done through the SATA III interface with a standard speed of 6 Gbit/s. The technology is one of the best HDD data transfer solutions available and delivers a speed of 600 MB/s.
