The Sena Expand Mono headset is designed for communication in situations where you also need to be aware of your surroundings. Its single-earpiece design keeps one ear free, which is very practical. The headset uses advanced Advanced Noise Control technology, which effectively filters out distracting sounds like wind. For connecting with others, it uses the Mesh communication platform and standard Bluetooth 5.2, which lets you connect to your phone to listen to music or GPS instructions.

Flexible communication with Mesh and Bluetooth

The Sena Expand Mono relies on a dual communication platform. Mesh 3.0 technology with a dual antenna offers a stable connection and, on an open network with nine channels, enables connection to an almost unlimited number of users. In a closed group network, up to 24 participants can communicate. In addition, the headset supports the Bluetooth 5.2 standard for pairing with a mobile phone. You can accept calls, listen to music or follow navigation instructions without interrupting your connection with your surroundings.

Clear sound even at a long distance

Communication remains clear even in demanding conditions. In open terrain, the intercom range reaches up to 400 metres. In a group of six or more users, the range extends up to 1.6km. Advanced Noise Control technology ensures the clarity of the transmitted voice by actively filtering and suppressing distracting ambient noise, such as gusts of wind. Your voice will always be distinct and clear to others, while you maintain awareness of what is happening around you.

Battery life and convenient charging

The headset is ready for long hours of operation with up to 10 hours of talk time in Mesh mode on a single charge. A full battery recharge takes 2.5 hours and is done via the modern USB-C connector. If you are in a hurry, you will appreciate the fast charging function, where just 20 minutes of charging provides enough power for another 2 hours of use. Keeping the firmware up to date is easy thanks to Over-The-Air (OTA) update support, which you can perform wirelessly through the Sena Utility app on your phone.
