Septofort contains a local antiseptic (a substance that reduces the number of germs). It is used as supportive therapy for infections of the throat and oral cavity, including infections caused by Candida albicans (powdery mildew). For the prevention (avoidance) and supportive treatment of gingivitis. To maintain oral hygiene after tooth extraction or removal of the tonsils (tonsillectomy).

The product is intended for adults, adolescents and children from 5 years of age.
If you do not feel better within 4 days (children within 3 days) or if you feel worse, you must consult a doctor.

💊 Use

Supportive therapy for throat infections
Adults and adolescents aged 12 and over: The recommended dose is one lozenge 4-5 times a day.
Children aged 5 to 12 years: The recommended dose is one lozenge 2-3 times a day.
For supportive treatment for throat infections, do not use this product for more than 4 days in adults and 3 days in children.

Supportive therapy for oral infections, including infections caused by Candida albicans (powdery mildew)
Adults: The recommended dose is 2 lozenges 5 to 6 times a day.
Adolescents over 12 years of age: The recommended dose is 2 lozenges 4 to 6 times a day.
Children from 5 to 12 years of age: The recommended dose is 2 lozenges 3 times a day.
Use the product for approximately 14 days to 1 month.

For the prevention (avoidance) and supportive treatment of gingivitis
Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: The recommended dose is 1 lozenge 4 to 5 times a day.
Children from 5 to 12 years of age: The recommended dose is 1 lozenge 2 to 3 times a day.
Use the product for approximately 1 month.

To maintain oral hygiene after tooth extraction or tonsillectomy
Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: The recommended dose is 1 lozenge 4 to 5 times a day.
Children from 5 to 12 years of age: The recommended dose is 1 lozenge 2 to 3 times a day.
The length of treatment depends on your clinical condition.

The interval between two doses should be at least 2 hours for adults and adolescents and 4 hours for children. Lozenges should not be used before or during eating and drinking. For 1 to 2 hours after dissolving the lozenge, it is not recommended to eat and drink.

🍃 Ingredients

The active substance is chlorhexidini digluconas; one lozenge contains chlorhexidini digluconas 2 mg (equivalent to chlorhexidini digluconatis solutio 20% 10 mg). Other ingredients are sorbitol, peppermint aroma, cornstarch, magnesium stearate, mint green P-WS (maltodextrin blend, polysorbate 80, propylene glycol, silica and copper chlorophyllin complex), aspartame.

The product is intended for children from 5 years of age.

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you think, that you might be pregnant, or you're planning to get pregnant, check with your doctor or pharmacist first, before using this product. The use of this product during pregnancy is not recommended for precautionary reasons. In the period of breastfeeding, the product can be used for a short time, long-term use is not recommended.

📦 Storage

Keep this product out of sight and reach of children. Store at temperatures up to 25 °C. Keep in original packaging to protect the product from light and moisture. Do not use this product after the expiry date stated on the box after "Use by:" and on the blister after "EXP". The period of validity refers to the last day of the month indicated
