Entering calculations
The calculator is designed for the easiest possible operation. The direct algebraic logic (D.A.L.) system lets you enter mathematical expressions exactly as you write them on paper, including brackets and fractions. The two-line display shows the entire entered formula and its result at the same time. If you make a mistake when typing, you do not need to delete the whole expression. Use the independent cursor key to easily navigate to the desired spot and correct the entry. Use the HOME key for a quick restart and return to the basic mode.
