The Shelly Dimmer Gen4 smart dimming module allows you to turn existing lighting into smart lighting without having to change switches. Once installed behind your wall switch, you can conveniently adjust the brightness of your lighting, set minimum and maximum brightness levels, as well as the dimming speed and transition time, making it easy to adapt the light for work, relaxation, or the evening atmosphere. The Shelly Dimmer Gen4 supports dimmable LED sources up to 150W, conventional and halogen bulbs up to 200W, and selected transformers, with a maximum output power of 200W. Thanks to Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee, and Matter support, you can easily integrate it into various smart home systems, and via Matter, it can be used with Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Samsung SmartThings, or Home Assistant, for example. Using the Shelly Smart Control app, you can create schedules, smart scenes, and automations, such as adjusting the brightness to the time of day or synchronising the lighting with sunrise and sunset. When combined with a Shelly BLU Motion sensor, the Shelly Dimmer Gen4 can automatically turn on the light when motion is detected, while the night mode allows you to use a preset, dimmer brightness during selected hours. The compact design, measuring 38.5 × 43.5 × 17mm, facilitates installation in tight spaces behind the switch and preserves classic physical light control. When connected without a neutral wire and with a load of less than 20W, it is necessary to use the Shelly Bypass for the dimmer.
