Siemens Connected Home SSA911.02ZB, Zigbee thermostatic head works on Zigbee 3.0 wireless communication with low energy consumption and high security. The SSA911.02ZB thermoelectric actuator is a member of the new Connected Home family of home heating automation from Siemens. It is designed to control thermostatic valves with M30 × 1.5 connection (also non-Siemens). In the heating system it regulates the flow of heating water through the circuit or radiator. Once connected to the valve, the automatic adaptation function is activated to ensure optimum stroke and force. The maximum stroke force is 90 N and the stroke is 5 mm. The servo drive is wireless and battery powered. The entire heating ecosystem is operated via one app and your mobile phone. This gives you one-click control. Everything can be set up quickly and easily. The Connected Home ecosystem saves significantly on operating and energy costs. It is able to work with different electricity tariffs and efficiently plan water heating.

To use the product's smart features, you need to add the device to the manufacturer's app. For more information about the application (name, supported OS, supported languages) and how to add a device to the application, please refer to the product manual.
You can connect a thermostatic actuator and relay unit to the ecosystem created by the router and app. And then control them with your phone. The entire system is thus prepared for the future for the connection of a wide range of devices. Connecting devices takes just three clicks and a few seconds. In total, up to 100 different devices can be connected in ZigBee communication. To amplify the signal, the RCR1102ZB relay unit can be used as a Zigbee signal repeater. Up to 10 rooms can be controlled separately. Each room in the home can be set to its own comfort temperature to suit the requirements of its occupants.
Installing the Siemens Connected Home SSA911.02ZB Zigbee thermostatic head on a valve is very easy. After installation, it connects to the Connected Home system via ZigBee 3.0 wireless communication. In the system, it cooperates with the ZigBee GTW100ZB router, through which the drive can be controlled from a mobile phone app. The drive has an integrated PI controller and temperature sensor that measures the room temperature and sends the values to the mobile app.
The servo drive can also be set manually - for this purpose there are three buttons located on the body of the drive and LCD display, which clearly displays both the settings and warning messages and more. The minus button decreases the set temperature, the plus button increases it. The middle button is used for confirmation and has an LED ring on it to indicate the status (red/green light).
