This sophisticated EX class lens by the Japanese company Sigma is perfect for portrait photography. The autofocus uses an ultrasonic micromotor, which is typical of high speed and precision, and also very quiet. The rear lens is equipped with the Super Multi Layer (SML) anti-reflective layer, which minimizes light reflections from the sensor. It has excellent brightness and excellent contrast even at maximum aperture settings.
It is designed for digital SLR cameras with sensors and fits the classic 35mm film format body. The lens has a fixed focal length of 85mm and a maximum aperture of f/1.4.
