The pot is also durable enough for use in the oven—you can first sear your ingredients and then conveniently bake them without having to transfer anything. - Braise – ideal for ragouts, goulash or stewed meat. First, the ingredients are quickly seared in a small amount of fat, then covered with water or stock and simmered slowly.
- Sear / Sauté – this programme is suitable for browning meat or baking food.
- Keep Warm – ideal for reheating a finished meal or keeping prepared food warm.
- White Rice / Brown Rice – for preparing rice (jasmine, basmati or long-grain).
