Silymarin AL 50 mg 100 tablets
Silymarin AL 50 mg tbl. obd.100
belongs to the group of drugs intended for the treatment of liver diseases. Contains milk thistle fruit extract. Silymarin AL is used as a supportive therapy for chronic inflammatory liver disease, liver cirrhosis (a serious liver disease characterized by the multiplication of connective tissue and nodular remodeling of liver tissue), and toxic liver injury. It will not prevent liver damage. Silymarin treatment does not prevent the causes of liver damage (such as. alcohol). This medicine is not suitable for the treatment of acute poisoning.
Dosage and method of use
Unless otherwise directed by a physician, the usual dosage is: For adults and adolescents from 12 years of age: If well tolerated, 2 to 3 coated Silymarin AL tablets are taken 3 times a day (i.e. 300 - 450 mg silymarin/day). After symptoms improve and in less severe cases, the dose may be reduced to 4 coated tablets per day (i.e. 200 mg silymarin/day). Tablets are recommended to be taken after meals.
Contraindications
Like all medicines, Silymarin AL may have side effects, but these may not occur in everyone.

Less common:
indigestion such as nausea and a slightly laxative effect. Immune system disorders. Hypersensitivity (allergic) reactions such as rash, itching and shortness of breath.

Storage
Store at temperatures up to 25°C. Keep this product out of sight and reach of children. Do not use this product after the expiry date stated on the box and blister.
