Sinecod drops
Sinecod drops, against dry, irritating cough of various origins, contain the medicinal substance butamirate citrate, which belongs to a group of drugs called antitussives - cough suppressants. It is used for short-term treatment of acute coughs, e.g. in acute infections of the upper and lower respiratory tract, trachea and bronchi.

What is dry cough and how to treat it?
A dry cough is an irritating, scratchy cough that is often associated with swelling and congestion of the mucous membranes in the airways. This is a non-productive cough, i.e. you do not cough up mucus from your bronchial tubes. It is usually triggered by minor irritation in the throat and bronchial tubes, which can be caused by e.g. the common cold. A dry cough can be relieved with medicines called antitussives. If the cough is unproductive, bothersome or debilitating and interferes with sleep, it is wise to suppress it with an antitussive.
Improving sleep quality
The quality of our sleep is important for our overall health and well-being. A dry cough can be really disturbing, especially at night, and can cause us and our children to wake up tired and without energy. Sinecod drops is a medicine designed to control dry, irritating coughs and its use can help us and our little patients sleep better and more soundly.
