The ACADEMY Grade 2 is a versatile 14-inch children's bike, ideal for children aged 2 to 4 years and from 95 cm tall. Weighing just 5.3 kg, it's almost 40% lighter than conventional children's bikes. The bike has black aluminium rims of 14 inches and 16 holes. The front and rear hub are also aluminium, with classic 14G/16H. The frame is shaped like a Diamond Knick and is made of lightweight Triple Butted Aluminium, with a frame height of 21 cm. The handlebars are BMX style, 470 mm wide, fitted with black Velo grips. The seatpost measures 25.4 × 200 mm and is made of aluminium. The pedals are plastic with ball bearings and integrated reflectors, measuring 95 × 80 × 23 mm, with 9/16" thread. The bike is equipped with a 1-Gang Freilauf with 25 teeth (25T) and 90mm aluminium cranks. Braking is provided by aluminium V-brakes front and rear, complemented by black composite brake levers.

Frame geometry
The bike has a wheel size of 14 inches. The length of the seat tube is 205 mm and the seat angle is 68°. The head tube length is 90 mm, the head tube angle (i.e. steering angle) is also 68°. The horizontal length of the upper frame tube measures 350 mm. The rear structure, i.e. the length of the chain stays, is 267 mm.The overall wheelbase (distance between wheel hubs) is 631 mm. The minimum saddle height is 410 mm and the maximum is 500 mm, which allows adjustment according to the height of the child. The cranks have a length of 90 mm, which meets the ergonomic needs of small riders.
