TSA lock
The primary purpose of a TSA lock system, marked with a red diamond symbol, is to allow baggage to be easily opened for inspection without damaging it. This can also speed up the inspection process. TSA security staff can open and inspect baggage with this type of lock without having to destroy it. All TSA locks are marked with a code from TSA001 to TSA007, which corresponds to the type of universal key used to open them. Keys for TSA locks are not available for sale to the public and are only available to TSA staff.
