Alpro vegetable drink with soy flavour
Alpro vegetable soy drink is a great alternative to milk. It is made from soybeans, the quality of which is carefully monitored. In addition to its 100% plant-based composition, it is also lactose, gluten and artificial colour free. In contrast, it contains vitamins B2, B12 and D2. You can use Alpro in cooking for food preparation, add it to cereals, smoothies and shakes, but it's also wonderful on its own. It is also suitable for vegetarians.

RECIPE
VEGAN VANILLA SANDWICH
Ingredients
190ml Alpro soy drink
250g self-raising flour
70g vanilla sugar
75ml sunflower/olive oil
40ml boiling water
1 vanilla pod or 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
3 tablespoons sliced almonds
a pinch of salt
Progress
1. A simple bun that is surprisingly easy to prepare in just a few steps. Preheat the oven to 180 °C and grease a smaller cake tin with oil, 20 cm in diameter.
2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, vanilla sugar, vanilla pod contents (or essence) and a pinch of salt. Add soy drink, oil and hot water. Mix everything thoroughly until smooth.
3. Pour the mixture into the tin, sprinkle with sliced almonds and bake for 40-45 minutes until golden brown. Check with a skewer - if you pull it out clean, it's done.
4. Let cool (although we know it's hard to resist not going straight into the bread). Perfect with coffee or tea, or as a dessert with fresh fruit.
