The CAT Nexus 55cm cabin suitcase is a compact piece of luggage suitable for short trips and business travel. How to set the CAT suitcase TSA lock
You can change the number combination by following these steps:
1. Set the lock to the opening combination (the factory default is 0-0-0).
2. Press the reset button with a pen or another pointed object until you hear a click.
3. Set your new number on the dial and be sure to remember it.
4. Push the button in the direction of the arrow.
The reset button will return to its original position and you will hear a click. Your new code is now set. To change your numeric code again, simply repeat steps 1 to 4.
Opening the lock:
To release the zip pullers and open the suitcase, enter the correct code and push the button in the direction of the arrow (the factory default code is 0-0-0 if you have not yet set your own code).
TSA lock
The primary purpose of the TSA lock system, marked with a red diamond symbol, is to allow luggage to be easily opened for inspection without damage. This also helps to speed up the inspection process. TSA security officers can open and inspect luggage with this type of lock without having to break it. All TSA locks are marked with a code from TSA001 to TSA007, which corresponds to the type of master key used to open that specific lock. TSA master keys are not sold publicly and are only available to TSA personnel. After inspecting the luggage, these officers are required to place a notice of inspection inside your suitcase and must lock it again. The lock is especially recommended when travelling to the USA, as the TSA is primarily an American organisation, but TSA standards are also used at airports outside the United States.Specifications
