The GIRO Fixture II MIPS bike helmet is designed for off-road riding, from country lanes to narrow forest trails. Thanks to its extended profile at the back, it provides increased protection for the nape of the neck. The In-mould construction combines a durable polycarbonate shell with an inner EPS foam, which contributes to its low weight and high durability. A key safety feature is the MIPS technology to protect the brain from rotational forces during impact. Comfort is ensured by 16 vents and the Roc Loc Sport fit system, which allows for easy one-handed size adjustment.

Safety First with MIPS Technology
The helmet is equipped with MIPS (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System), which represents an advancement in head protection. It is a slip-plane layer located between the EPS shell and the inner padding. In the event of an angled impact, this system allows the helmet shell to rotate a few millimetres independently of the head. Although the movement is minimal, it significantly reduces the amount of rotational force that could otherwise be transferred to the brain and cause serious injury.
Solid Construction and Effective Ventilation
The core of the helmet is its In-mould construction, where the outer polycarbonate shell is fused to the inner layer of EPS foam. The result is a lightweight yet very strong structure that effectively absorbs energy upon impact. For comfort even on challenging climbs, the helmet is equipped with a total of 16 vents. These openings ensure optimal airflow and help keep your head cool and dry throughout your ride.
User Comfort and Practical Details
The Roc Loc Sport fit system ensures a secure fit on your head. Using the dial, you can easily and quickly adjust the size with one hand, even while riding. The inner padding is made from quick-drying Coolmax material, which also has antibacterial properties. The pads can be easily removed and washed. It also includes a removable Snap-Fit 2 visor to protect you from the sun, rain, or branches on the trail. For better visibility in low light, the helmet is finished with reflective elements.
