TSA lock
The TSA lock system, marked with a red diamond symbol, is primarily designed to allow luggage to be easily opened for inspection without damage. This also means the check can be carried out more quickly. This type of lock allows TSA security officers to open and inspect luggage without having to break the lock. All TSA locks are marked with a code from TSA001 to TSA007, which corresponds to the type of universal key used to open them. Keys for TSA locks are not sold commercially and are only available to TSA personnel. After inspecting the luggage, these officers are required to place a notice of inspection inside your suitcase and the suitcase must be re-locked.
