Petzl Pixa R
The Petzl Pixa R is a durable LED head torch designed for intensive use in demanding industrial environments. It offers 3 lighting modes – a wide beam for close-range work, 2 combined beams for movement, and a narrow, focused beam for long-range vision. CONSTANT LIGHTING technology maintains a constant light output, and the BOOST function increases it to 600 lm for 10 seconds with a beam distance of 90m. The Petzl Pixa R head torch can withstand a 2m drop, being crushed by a load of up to 80kg, and exposure to certain chemicals. Its dustproof and waterproof design, rated IP68, can withstand immersion in up to 2m of water for 1 hour.

Luminous flux
Measured in lumens (lm), the higher the value, the more intensely the head torch shines. Some LED head torches offer multiple levels of light intensity, adjustable either in steps or continuously. However, a higher luminous flux shortens the battery life.Up to 100 lm – a head torch for home use (lighting in the cellar, loft, or when repairing a car).
100–400 lm – outdoor use (night running, cycling, camping).
Over 400 lm – extreme professions and sports (rescuers, mountaineers).
