Developed specifically for trail riding and enduro racing, the POC Tectal helmet delivers excellent ventilation and a high level of protection. It uses the aramid reinforcement system familiar from the award-winning POC Trabec helmet, while the lightweight EPS liner effectively absorbs shock and increases safety in crashes. The fully wraparound unibody shell design, first used in the POC Octal road helmet, increases the strength and durability of the helmet while keeping the weight low. The Tectal helmet provides more coverage than conventional MTB helmets, especially around the temples and occipital area, thereby increasing protection for the most at-risk parts of the head. Thanks to the wind tunnel-optimised and wind tunnel-tested vents, it ensures efficient airflow and a pleasant cooling even during intense riding. Comfortable wearing is guaranteed by a lightweight adjustment system that allows a precise and secure fit, while the adjustable visor offers individual protection against sun, mud or branches.
