POC Kortal Race MIPS white XS

The POC Kortal Race MIPS bike helmet offers extended protection zones, excellent ventilation and integrated technologies that protect before, during and after a crash, making it the ideal helmet for enduro. The helmet is equipped with the Mips Integra rotational impact protection system, RECCO® reflector and integrated NFC Medical ID from twICEme®, which stores important rider data that can be instantly accessed at the scene of an accident. The helmet's adjustable and removable visor can be raised to easily store the goggles. The rear ventilation also allows sunglasses to be stored safely and no vents are covered by the goggle strap, helping riders stay cool. The helmet is certified according to the Dutch NTA 8776 standard for electric bicycle helmets, the only such standard in the world.

Integrated safety and comfort features

The health data stored on the twICEme® NFC Medical ID chip can be easily read by a passenger or paramedic by simply attaching a smartphone, allowing quick access to important information in the event of an accident. The Kortal Race Mips helmet features a patented removable shield that breaks away in an accident, improving neck protection and reducing the risk of injury. The helmet is designed to fit perfectly with the POC Ora goggles, which fit comfortably under the visor when not in use. The design ensures that the goggle tape does not cover any ventilation holes, helping riders stay cool.

Advanced head protection technology

The latest technology from head protection specialists Mips improves protection against rotational impacts, providing better safety in bumps and falls. RECCO® reflector helps emergency services to locate riders quickly and easily in an emergency, offering greater peace of mind when riding in remote areas. The lightweight EPS lining provides optimised protection by absorbing impact forces and reducing the risk of injury in a fall. The unibody design of the helmet increases its structural integrity, ensuring durability and robust protection for the rider.

E-bike readiness and extended protection

The Kortal helmet has been developed specifically for use with electric bikes and meets the Dutch NTA 8776 standard for e-bike helmets, making it the ideal choice for electric bike riders. Fluorescent helmet colours are free of hazardous chemicals, making them more susceptible to fading due to UV rays. The fading process is completely natural and does not indicate any defect in the product. The design of the helmet ensures that the goggle strap does not cover any ventilation holes, allowing unrestricted airflow and helping to keep the rider comfortable even during long rides. Ventilation holes on the back of the helmet offer a convenient and secure place to store sunglasses that stay in place when not in use. Enhanced protection zones around the temples and back of the head provide additional safety in areas that are most prone to impact, ensuring better protection in high-risk situations.
