Saucony RIDE ISO 2

Neutral striding is a type of striding in which the foot maintains its natural position on impact with the ground without excessive pronation (internal rotation of the foot) or supination (external rotation of the foot). This type of stride is considered biomechanically efficient because it allows for effective shock absorption and promotes the natural movement of the foot during the running stride. Footwear designed for neutral tread is designed to provide even support along the entire length of the foot without interfering with the natural movement of the foot. These shoes typically offer adequate shock absorption, but do not include special stabilising features or significant support technologies aimed at correcting pronation or supination.

Highly cushioned footwear is designed to provide maximum shock absorption and joint protection. This type of footwear is suitable for athletes who engage in activities with prolonged loads or have a higher body weight and require increased impact protection.
