Steeleton - Dark. EDC knife SCANDINOFF Steeleton is a knife belonging to the EDC category - i.e. a knife for everyday carry. This sturdy all-metal and durable folding knife has a unique shape in the SCANDINOFF design language. The handle has a gently curved shape (a characteristic design element of all SCANDINOFF knives), which creates unique ergonomics and a firm grip. You can already tell when you grip a closed knife that it is really a "piece of knife". This knife is suitable and can be used as an EDC knife, a closing knife, pocket knife, camping knife, outdoor knife, hiking knife, carving knife, skinning knife, food preparation knife, rescue knife, fishing knife, a collector's knife.

Knife blade

It is based on the original shapes of the Nordic Viking SEAX knives, and is made from Sandvik 14C28N Scandinavian steel, which is currently one of the most sought-after knife steels worldwide. The cut of the knife is flat, with a unique continuous groove along the entire length of the upper edge of the knife. The top edge of the knife has a unique 15° top cut extended to the tip, creating a unique design element on the front bevel of the blade. The entire blade is finished in black stonewash, vacuum hardened to 60±1 HRC Rockwell scale. The sharpness of the knife is first class, as you can see in the videos on social media.

Opening the knife

Very gentle, simple and fast, using the rear "flipper". The blade is secured as a "frame lock". The knife lock is very stable, there is no risk of the knife re-closing without releasing it.

Established in 2020 in the Czech Republic. In the beginning, the brand concentrated on handmade knives like the Viking Seax. The high interest and popularity of these knives led to the establishment of a special 3D design studio SCANDINOFF, which began to create its own visualizations, 3D models and production drawings of other types of knives, based on the shape of the Viking Seax, but adapted to modern requirements for the use and maintenance of the knife. Over time, other types of knives were developed that emphasized not only the design, but also the durability and utility value of the knives. All of this allowed the brand to move on to its own ideas and designs over time, as evidenced, for example, by This closing knife, or Vario knife, excels with its own multi-purpose design, created by the SCANDINOFF design studio. SCANDINOFF uses exclusively Scandinavian steels for the blades, mainly Sandvik and Sleipner, with plans for carbon steel 80 CrV2.
