TSA lock
The primary purpose of TSA lock systems, marked with a red diamond symbol, is to allow luggage to be easily opened for inspection without causing damage. It can also speed up the inspection process. This type of lock allows TSA security officers to open and inspect the luggage without having to break the lock. All TSA locks are marked with a code from TSA001 to TSA007, which corresponds to the type of master key designed to open that kind of lock. Keys for TSA locks are not sold to the public and are only available to TSA personnel. After inspecting the luggage, these officers are required to place an inspection notice inside your suitcase and must lock the case again.
