TSA lock
The TSA lock system, marked with a red diamond symbol, is primarily designed to let your luggage be easily opened for inspection without being damaged. It can also speed up the inspection process. Security staff can use this type of lock to open and check your luggage without having to destroy the lock. All TSA locks are marked with a code from TSA001 to TSA007, which corresponds to the type of master key used to open this kind of lock. TSA lock keys are not sold to the public and are only available to TSA staff. After inspecting the luggage, they are required to place a notification of inspection in your suitcase and the suitcase must be locked again. It is especially recommended for travel to the USA, as the TSA is primarily a US organisation, but TSA standards are also used at airports outside the United States.Specifications
